Or, les donn\u00e9es r\u00e9centes d\u00e9montrent clairement que cette vision est incompl\u00e8te. La sant\u00e9 globale des employ\u00e9s: physique, mentale et sociale, est devenue un d\u00e9terminant central de la performance durable des organisations.<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Pourtant, comme le souligne un r\u00e9cent article publi\u00e9 dans\u00a0<i>Les Affaires<\/i>, plusieurs entreprises continuent d\u2019ignorer l\u2019impact r\u00e9el des habitudes de vie sur l\u2019efficacit\u00e9, l\u2019engagement et la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 de leurs \u00e9quipes.<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">En tant que docteure en naturopathie et coach de gestion, j\u2019observe quotidiennement les effets concrets de l\u2019hygi\u00e8ne de vie, ou de son absence, sur la capacit\u00e9 des individus \u00e0 fonctionner, \u00e0 se concentrer et \u00e0 performer. Transpos\u00e9 au milieu de travail, ce constat devient un enjeu strat\u00e9gique.<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\"><b>Quand la sant\u00e9 nuit \u00e0 la productivit\u00e9\u2026 ou l\u2019inverse<\/b><\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Selon l\u2019Organisation mondiale de la sant\u00e9 (OMS), la sant\u00e9 ne se limite pas \u00e0 l\u2019absence de maladie, mais correspond \u00e0 un \u00e9tat de bien-\u00eatre physique, mental et social complet. Cette d\u00e9finition est aujourd\u2019hui reprise dans les approches modernes de sant\u00e9 organisationnelle, notamment au Qu\u00e9bec.<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Les chiffres sont \u00e9loquents :<\/div><ul><li>Plus du tiers des travailleurs qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois rapportent une d\u00e9tresse psychologique significative<\/li><li>Entre 10 % et 23 % pr\u00e9sentent des sympt\u00f4mes d\u2019anxi\u00e9t\u00e9, de d\u00e9pression ou d\u2019\u00e9puisement professionnel<\/li><li>Les absences li\u00e9es \u00e0 des enjeux de sant\u00e9 mentale sont en constante augmentation.<\/li><\/ul><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Ces r\u00e9alit\u00e9s ont un co\u00fbt humain, mais aussi \u00e9conomique. L\u2019OMS estime que la d\u00e9pression et l\u2019anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 entra\u00eenent une perte de productivit\u00e9 \u00e9quivalente \u00e0\u00a0<b>1 000 milliards de dollars US par ann\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle mondiale<\/b>, principalement en raison de l\u2019absent\u00e9isme et du pr\u00e9sent\u00e9isme.<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">\u00a0<\/div><h2 class=\"x_elementToProof\"><b>L\u2019hygi\u00e8ne de vie : une approche pr\u00e9ventive, pas accessoire<\/b><\/h2><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">En naturopathie, l\u2019hygi\u00e8ne de vie constitue la base de toute intervention durable. Elle repose sur des piliers simples, mais puissants : le sommeil, l\u2019alimentation, l\u2019activit\u00e9 physique, la gestion du stress et la qualit\u00e9 des relations sociales.<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\"><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\"><b>1. Le sommeil : carburant cognitif sous-estim\u00e9<\/b><\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Le manque de sommeil chronique alt\u00e8re la concentration, la prise de d\u00e9cision et la r\u00e9gulation \u00e9motionnelle. Des recherches d\u00e9montrent qu\u2019un employ\u00e9 fatigu\u00e9 peut pr\u00e9senter des performances cognitives comparables \u00e0 celles d\u2019une personne l\u00e9g\u00e8rement intoxiqu\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019alcool.<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Dans les milieux de travail o\u00f9 la culture valorise le surinvestissement et le pr\u00e9sent\u00e9isme, le repos est encore trop souvent per\u00e7u comme un luxe. Pourtant, des initiatives comme les pauses de r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration ou m\u00eame la sieste encadr\u00e9e d\u00e9montrent des effets positifs sur la vigilance et la cognition.<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\"><b>2. L\u2019activit\u00e9 physique : un gain net de productivit\u00e9<\/b><\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Contrairement \u00e0 la croyance populaire, bouger ne fatigue pas : cela \u00e9nergise. Une synth\u00e8se d\u2019\u00e9tudes cit\u00e9e par\u00a0<i>Revue Gestion<\/i>\u00a0r\u00e9v\u00e8le que les employ\u00e9s physiquement actifs sont\u00a0<b>en moyenne 9 % plus productifs<\/b>\u00a0que leurs coll\u00e8gues s\u00e9dentaires.\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Sur le plan physiologique, l\u2019activit\u00e9 physique am\u00e9liore l\u2019oxyg\u00e9nation c\u00e9r\u00e9brale, la r\u00e9gulation du cortisol (hormone du stress) et la s\u00e9cr\u00e9tion d\u2019endorphines, ce qui se traduit par :<\/div><ul><li>une meilleure concentration<\/li><li>une humeur plus stable<\/li><li>une plus grande r\u00e9silience face aux exigences professionnelles<\/li><\/ul><div class=\"x_elementToProof\"><b>3. L\u2019alimentation et la glyc\u00e9mie : l\u2019\u00e9nergie invisible<\/b><\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">En clinique, je constate fr\u00e9quemment des baisses d\u2019\u00e9nergie, des \u00ab\u202fcoups de barre\u202f\u00bb et des difficult\u00e9s de concentration directement li\u00e9s \u00e0 une alimentation d\u00e9s\u00e9quilibr\u00e9e. Des repas riches en sucres rapides ou pris sur le pouce entra\u00eenent des fluctuations glyc\u00e9miques qui nuisent \u00e0 la clart\u00e9 mentale.<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Au travail, cela se traduit par une fatigue cognitive accrue, une irritabilit\u00e9 plus fr\u00e9quente et une diminution de la capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 g\u00e9rer le stress, autant de facteurs qui affectent la collaboration et la performance.<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\"><b>La responsabilit\u00e9 est partag\u00e9e<\/b><\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Il serait simpliste de faire porter tout le poids de l\u2019hygi\u00e8ne de vie sur l\u2019individu. Les organisations jouent un r\u00f4le cl\u00e9 dans la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019environnements favorables \u00e0 la sant\u00e9.<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Les donn\u00e9es montrent que les entreprises qui int\u00e8grent des pratiques favorisant le bien-\u00eatre comme la flexibilit\u00e9, les pauses, l&#8217;acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019activit\u00e9 physique et le soutien psychologique obtiennent :<\/div><ul><li>une meilleure r\u00e9tention du personnel<\/li><li>une diminution de l\u2019absent\u00e9isme<\/li><li><div role=\"presentation\">une hausse de l\u2019engagement et de la productivit\u00e9\u00a0<\/div><\/li><\/ul><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">\u00c0 l\u2019inverse, une culture ax\u00e9e uniquement sur la performance \u00e0 court terme \u00e9rode graduellement les r\u00e9serves d\u2019\u00e9nergie des employ\u00e9s, menant \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9puisement.<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\"><b>G\u00e9rer l\u2019\u00e9nergie plut\u00f4t que le temps<\/b><\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Une analogie de plus en plus utilis\u00e9e consiste \u00e0 \u00ab\u202fg\u00e9rer les employ\u00e9s comme des athl\u00e8tes\u202f\u00bb. Dans le sport de haut niveau, la performance repose sur l\u2019alternance entre effort et r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration. Or, cette logique est encore peu appliqu\u00e9e en entreprise.<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Comme le souligne\u00a0<i>Revue Gestion<\/i>, planifier le travail uniquement en fonction du temps, et non de l\u2019\u00e9nergie, conduit \u00e0 privil\u00e9gier la quantit\u00e9 au d\u00e9triment de la qualit\u00e9.<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\"><b>Investir dans la sant\u00e9, investir dans la performance<\/b><\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">L\u2019hygi\u00e8ne de vie n\u2019est ni un luxe ni une tendance passag\u00e8re. Elle constitue un levier fondamental de sant\u00e9 durable, tant pour les individus que pour les organisations.<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Je suis convaincue que les entreprises qui comprennent l&#8217;importance de l&#8217;hygi\u00e8ne de vie au travail auront une longueur d&#8217;avance. Car une organisation en sant\u00e9 commence toujours par des humains en sant\u00e9.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div><p><strong>Passer \u00e0 l&#8217;action<\/strong><\/p><p>Savoir que l\u2019hygi\u00e8ne de vie influence la performance, c\u2019est une chose.
